The Alleluia Chorus went to Build-a-Bear for their end of the season trip on May 4, 2013. They each made a bear to take to the local Ronald McDonald house. They then visited the house and left their bears for other children in need. Afterwards they went out for lunch to…where else…McDonalds.Share

Lutheran World Relief (LWR) and Equal Exchange partner to make it easy for us to use, buy and sell Fair Trade coffee, tea and cocoa through the LWR Coffee Project.
We sell coffee (several blends), tea, hot cocoa, baking cocoa and chocolate bars here at Shepherd of the Hills. If you are interested in purchasing, please call the office Tuesday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for information. I highly suggest the Hazelnut Creme Coffee (yum), Hot Cocoa mix, Baking cocoa and of coarse the Chocolate Bars.
Oops, I forgot to mention the wonderful variety of tea: English Breakfast (my favorite), Darjeeling, Earl Grey (another favorite), Rooibos, Chamomile, Green, Black, and Mint.
A HUGE “THANK YOU” to everyone who helped to make our rummage sale at Shepherd of the Hills a fantasic event. People came to shop our great bargains, had a wonderful lunch, and enjoyed some fellowship. All in all it was a fun day.Share
The Lenten Project was a great success!! Shepherd of the Hills collected enough items to fill 15 flat rate shipping boxes for our unit in Afghanistan. A few pictures are posted here, but make sure to check the page labeled Lenten Project to see all the photos of the children packing the boxes. They had a great time as you can see here!!Share
